Faith in Demon’s is basically just a buffing/utility melee build. There is only one real offensive miracle and it’s only really useful in specific situation. Personally I think the Lava Bow is incredibly useful for PvE, especially for Faith builds as they tend to lack both ranged abilities as well as fire damage. You don't need it (and if you're going for primarily PvP build you shouldn't waste points to use it), however it is quite handy to have around.
